Experience
As Senior Production Officer, Flowers managed Mississippi’s generation assets; through servant leadership, strategic planning and resource collaboration, her team regained full operation of all plants in record time after Hurricane Katrina.
Flowers served as Plant Manager and Cluster lead for all generation assets in the North GA territory. These 3 plant sites comprising 5000+ MWs posted top quartile results in safety, reliability and performance.
As Vice President of Engineering and New Generation, Flowers provided engineering, design, and turnkey support for over 70 generating plants and advanced a broad renewable portfolio nationwide and chaired the 2016 National Conference Chair for the Construction Users Round Table (CURT.)

She has held key leadership positions at Southern Company, Inc. as a plant engineer, Engineering, Planning, and Compliance Manager, Performance and Reliability Manager, and Fleet Retrofit Project Manager. She has experience as a system auditor with expertise in contract management.
Alison has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama, an Executive MBA from Kennesaw State University (GA.) She is a certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI.)
